"The class was amazing and we learned so much from both of them - they were the perfect compliment to one another and both brought a unique view and background that offered an engaging dialogue around the birth journey as well as lots of great resources to share with us.
We were educated on all the stages of labour, the various interventions and options we could be offered, the risks and benefits of these options, and most importantly, our bodies natural wisdom and responses to birth that give us all the tools we need to bring our babies into the world. this class was a well rounded education on all birth scenarios."

"We are beyond grateful for our Michelle our birthday coach. From the very beginning, she made us feel deeply supported, informed, and calm. She guided us through every possibility so that when things didn’t go exactly as planned, nothing felt shocking or scary—we felt prepared and empowered. Because of her guidance, my partner knew exactly how to support me and was truly present throughout the entire experience. Our birth was beautiful, grounded, and full of trust, and a huge part of that is thanks to her. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience."

"I took the group in-person class in February to prepare for the birth of my 3rd child and I learned so many new things that I didn't know prior to taking the course. Sam and Michelle were amazing at conveying the information and entertaining. They related to all the new mommas and even the dads. It is a worthwhile class to take with your partner because it covers the whole journey of birth to postpartum and what you can expect and what your choices are. Also how the non birthing partner can help during this period. It also focuses a lot on informed consent and what that truly means"

"I took the My Powerful Birth course in Pitt Meadows and it was truly incredible. It was informative, empowering, and honestly far more impactful than I expected. The biggest takeaway for me was learning how to advocate for myself in the hospital. I genuinely believe that the knowledge and confidence I gained from this course played a major role in me having a vaginal delivery. My husband also learned how to ask the right questions in the moment, which made such a difference when things mattered most.
The course broke down the stages of birth in a way that finally made everything click. I felt prepared instead of scared, informed instead of overwhelmed, and that feeling stayed with me right through delivery.
Michelle is absolutely amazing. She is an incredible teacher and leader, so knowledgeable, and brings such a calm, maternal energy into the room. I honestly wish I had hired her as our doula because she has that rare combination of deep expertise and genuine warmth that instantly makes you feel safe and supported.
Sam was also fantastic. She led parts of the class with so much humor and confidence, and I will never forget her acting out what labor looks like. It was hilarious, memorable, and actually helped the information stick in a very real way.
I also really appreciated the postpartum portion of the course. It’s something I hadn’t given enough thought to beforehand, especially the importance of calling on your village. It helped me reframe how to approach visitors and support once the baby arrived, which was invaluable.
I would recommend this course to anyone who is curious about birth, whether it’s your first baby or not. It’s empowering, practical, and delivered with so much heart."
